We are a group of photographers using their craft to help the people of Myanmar in their struggle for democracy.

All the funds collected from the sales will be given to Myanmar. Buyers will be given an official receipt of their donation.

Throughout June, La Couarde-sur-Mer’s library and town hall will be exposing photographs of the coup d’état that has been shaking Burma for the past few months. Our friend Yannick Borit lived there for 20 years. He was contacted by young Burmese from the civil disobedience movement, who asked him to expose what was happening in their country through their photos. 18 photos of Photos for Myanmar will also be shown there.

On Friday June 11th at 19:00, Yannick will show his new documentary about Burma.

Saturday June 19th at 11:00, meeting-discussion around culture, tradition and everyday life with young Burmese people. You will be offered a Burmese aperitif tasting.
